Donna J. Guido, Founder and CEO
Donna co-founded BFI in 2008. Under Donna’s leadership, BFI has grown from a public sector IT consulting firm, into a full-service IT consulting and custom staffing company, offering high-end business, system integration and outsourcing services.
Donna has over 30 years of delivering information technology and modernization solutions for state-based healthcare exchanges, social services programs, and insurance clients. Before co-founding BFI, Donna served as Engagement Center Director for Northrop Grumman Information Systems, and led several successful multi-million dollar implementations across multiple states. Donna is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Her depth of executive leadership has been key to Business Focus’ continued success.
BJ Murray, Executive Vice President
BJ is responsible for BFI’s internal controls. In this capacity, she has executive responsibility for assuring that BFI’s people have the tools and processes they need to consistently deliver the highest-quality services to our clients.
Prior to joining BFI, BJ has served as Project Manager, Technical Manager, Web Development Manager, DBA Manager, and PMO Manager in the healthcare, insurance, financial, and social services arenas. BJ has a consulting career that spans over 30 years. She has a track record of success in delivering high-impact solutions and modernization strategies to dozens of clients in the public and private sector. Her experience includes resource management, staff development, project management and support, and internal systems. BJ is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Karen Hames, Co-Founder and Chief Delivery Officer
Karen, along with Donna Guido, co-founded BFI in 2008. Karen is responsible for assuring that our staff consistently delivers the highest-quality services to our clients. Before co-founding BFI, Karen served as Principal Consultant for Northrop Grumman Information Systems – Childcare Systems Division.
Karen has over 30 years of experience in state and local social services systems and business automation. Karen is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Since BFI’s inception, her commitment to our clients and delivering a quality product is a testament to our happy customers!
